We warmly welcome you to the house waming party of Thelma Björk Jónsdóttir, who is the next designer moving into our Residency. Thelma is a fashion designer, textile-, yoga and meditation teacher, who has specialized in handmade hats with respect to the lineage of the craft. She uses craft as a medium to increase the calm connection between mind and body through precision and presence, as well as a tool for expression and creation. Inspired by her foremothers and memories of the past, she aims to create new experiences of craft and daily objects using found and reused materials. We look forward to welcoming Thelma at the Residency and you at the house warming party!
